Job description

Adecco Medical & Science is looking for a Medical Assistant for our client in Stuart, FL ! This is an onsite role specializing in Primary Care. Please reply with your most updated resume for consideration.

Type: Two-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full time offer

Schedule: 745 AM to 515 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay: $22.34 - $24.34 per hour based on experience

Dress:   Scrubs (Grey, Teal, or Black) or Business Casual

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:

·       Assist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy and other patient care procedures

·       Maintain established quality control standards

·       Record and process patient care documentation quickly and accurately

·       Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies

·       Organize, stock and clean exam and treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

·       Maintain quality control standards and required Medical Assistant and CPR certifications

Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:

·       High school diploma or GED

·       Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration or the ability to obtain the designation within 180 days of employment

·       Current CPR and/or BLS certification or the ability to attain the certification within 30 days of employment

·       1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant

·       ICD -9/10 and CPT coding experience

·       Bilingual Spanish a plus.
