The Role:
We're on the lookout for an experienced Human Resources Generalist who embodies a unique blend of technical skill and a passion for employee engagement. This role goes beyond task completion; it's about crafting memorable experiences for our employees and applicants alike.

As a vital member of our team, you will:

Bring your creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to forge an exceptional work culture through innovative employee programs.
Manage and enhance employee benefits, health, and welfare plans, ensuring a supportive environment.
Lead recruitment efforts, performance management, and policy development, always aiming to attract and retain top talent.
Serve as a trusted advisor and primary backup for payroll operations, upholding confidentiality and compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Engage with staff and visitors, embodying our values and fostering a workplace that feels like home.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
At least five years of professional HR experience, with a strong background in benefits administration, recruitment, and policy development.
A minimum of two to three years' experience processing payroll in California, with a preference for those familiar with ADP Workforce Now.
A valid California driver's license for occasional travel to other branches.
Unique talents, like chalkboard doodling or grilling skills, are a delightful bonus!

What We Offer:

A position at our San Luis Obispo Headquarters, with remote work options available after approximately 90 days of successful training, up to a couple of days a week.
