Project Manager - Commercial Construction
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire scope of commercial construction projects, from initial planning stages to completion. This will include coordinating with subcontractors, managing the project budget, and ensuring deadlines are met. The Project Manager must also be able to manage projects through the design-build process and coordinate with municipal authorities, if needed.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop and communicate project plans, goals, and objectives, as well as budget estimates.
- Project Execution and Coordination: Coordinate project management activities with other departments, subcontractors, and municipal authorities.
- Design-Build Coordination: Manage the design-build process of projects, including K-12 school projects.
- Project Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress and budget. Prepare and report project progress.
- Qualifications:
- Strong project management experience in commercial construction.
- Knowledge of the design-build process and experience with municipal construction projects.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Nice to have: Previous experience with K-12 school and Municipal projects.
