Apex Systems is looking for a
Technical Product Manager to join a growing client in Greenwood Village, CO.
Onsite requirements: 3 days a week onsite per week.
This position will be joining my clients Platform as a Service team and will partner with several internal customers. The services they provide include compute, storage, and network set up for public cloud (AWS) and private cloud (on prem).
Experience needed: - 7+ years of Product Management and Product Owner experience
- Customer centric - work with customers, manage expectations, and iron out any issues that may come up
- Excellent communication - articulate with customer empathy
- Ability to manage crisis management - work through and resolve issues
- Agile experience to be articulate how to establish a roadmap, work through a backlog, work with Scrum Masters to ensure things are documented accurately for stories, etc.
- Ability to handle crisis management
- Agile experience
- Experience with any of the following would be beneficial: IP Video, Streaming, STB, load balancers, firewalls, switching, routing, on prem compute, VMWare, AWS
Day to day responsibilities: - Establish strong working relationships with customers to support product-centric delivery
- Support the design of viable, feasible and sustainable solutions that meet customer needs (validate and vet)
- Design and oversee product roadmaps
- Manage and prioritize the feature backlog (gating process)
- Facilitate alignment and collaboration across product and engineering teams
- Establish and improve standards of practice
- Conduct primary and secondary research as appropriate
Compensation for this position varies depending on experience and can be anywhere between $70-100/hr
