Job description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Social Worker supporting the Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. 

 

This contract position offers:

• Full-time employment opportunity, average 40 hours per week

• Set schedule with no nights or weekends

• Manageable patient workload

Position Requirements:

• Master's degree in social work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
• Social Workers shall have a minimum of three (3) years within the past five (5) years in the independent practice of clinical social work for adults preferably in a Government setting such as Department of Defense Medical Treatment Facility. Related experience will not be accepted in lieu of specific experience requirement, degree, or licensing requirement. Preference will be given to a social worker having completed formal training in evidence-based trauma psychotherapies such as Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapies, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
