Job description
Sparrow Company, an executive search and staffing firm, has an immediate need for a Mechanic for one of our clients in West El Paso. This is a temporary opportunity with the possibility of permanent employment.
Job Duties:
- Perform minor mechanical repairs to ensure proper performance and safety of vehicles
- Help Lead Mechanic complete major repairs
- Inspect vehicle and evaluate conditions of systems, equipment, accessories, lights and service as needed
- Service vehicles according to established preventative maintenance schedule
- Rotate and balance tires, change oil and filters, lubricate vehicle parts, inspect and replace hose, belts, mirrors, lamps, and maintain all fluid levels
Required Skills:
- Ability to operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle repair
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and vehicle parts
- Ability to get along with others
- Ability to understand, read and speak English
