job summary:
/ Position Summary:
1. As a Policy-as-Code Engineer, you will work as part of an agile team led by the Internal Cloud Product Owner. You will assist development teams and serve as a mentor / escalation point to a group of developers to facilitate Policy-as-Code solution architecture, design, implementation, and onboarding.
Job Responsibilities
1. Designs the application architecture for new services and develops integrations to and from our Policy as Code platform
2. Defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools
3. Provides technical guidance and assistance to other fellow developers on the crew
4. Conducts source code reviews, and assists in strengthening the foundation of the Policy as Code platform
Required Skills:
5. Experience in Software Engineering with languages like Golang, JavaScript, Java or Python
6. Familiarity with developing and integrating with APIs (preferably in Golang)
7. Expertise with Git and tools such as BitBucket / GitHub / Azure DevOps,
8. Agile development including experience with CI / CD Pipelines and understanding of integrating tools like Jenkins, Github, Jfrog Artifactory
9. Experience with Cloud Orchestration technology (i.e., Terraform)
10. Good communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills,
11. Self-motivated, willing to take initiative and able to new technologies when appropriate
