Welcome to Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade! We've grown a lot from our days selling limeade at the farmers market (which we still do). We are a popular and active restaurant family, and we'd love to have you join us, whether you're a cook, biscuit maker, server, dish machine operator, host, or drink maker, or any other type of support staff.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Host or Hostess to join our Support Staff team and be the first point of contact for our guests! The Host or Hostess makes sure that the guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. They create a warm and welcoming environment for the guests the moment they enter the establishment.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests to Sweet Lake with a smile
• Add guests to the waitlist and provide accurate wait times
• Escort guests to their table
• Provide excellent customer service
• Show guests where the QR menu code is and announce Waiter/Waitress's name
• Coordinate with servers about available seating options
• Maintain a clean Host area
• Assist wait staff as needed

Requirements and Skills:

• Previous work experience in food service is a plus
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining room
• Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Able to work in a high-volume restaurant
