Job description
Description We are seeking an experienced histology professional to serve as the Histotechnologist Lead. As the Histotechnologist Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our laboratory operations. Primary duties include:
* Resolving technical and operational issues that arise
* Observe and review staff technical performance, which includes quality of embedding, sectioning and staining
* Assists with preparation for accreditation and regulatory inspections and OSHA/CAP inspection
* Review daily record keeping, CICARE, teamwork, communications and other non-technical skills
* Develops training documents for use in the laboratory section
* Provides oversight of the supply and/or reagent inventory management system
Salary Range: $62.33 - $77.46/hour Qualifications * Histotechnician HT(ASCP) or Histotechnologist HTL (ASCP) certification.
* 5+ years of histology experience.
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
