Our Gun Club office is seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented professional who likes the challenge of variety, and possess excellent time management skills to join their team providing Customer Service at the Violations Bureau.


At the Violations Bureau you will assist customers from all walks of life with processing citations that are filed within Palm Beach County. In this role you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge on traffic citations, reinstating drivers licenses, misdemeanors cases, county ordinances, and much more! Learning more about these case types will allow you flourish a career within the Clerk's office by learning Florida State Statutes, our case management system and more!


Did you know our Gun Club office is located in the Criminal Justice Complex off of Gun Club Road in West Palm Beach?  Due to this unique location near the County Jail, our Gun Club office is the only location that handles first appearance court proceedings. First appearance court proceedings are when people are arrested for allegedly committing crimes, they must be taken before a judge relatively quickly to learn of the charges against them, their constitutional rights, any bail options, and other matters.

At the Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Office you can:

High school diploma (or GED) supplemented by five (5) years of recent and relevant experience that demonstrates the ability to accurately apply acute attention to detail in maintenance of detailed data preferably in an automated systems environment;  or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual speakers (Spanish) is highly desirable.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Attention to detail.
Communications skills.
Cashiering experience .
