Palmer Group is partnering with our downtown client as they look to grow their Human Resources team with the addition of a Human Resources Generalist. This individual will focus heavily on employee relations but will be responsible for benefits enrollment, onboarding, HRIS administration, and compliance-related items throughout the company. Responsibilities:
- Assist with performance management process to ensure consistency across the organization
- Serve as an advocate for conflict resolution within departments
- Provide guidance and support for department managers/leaders on performance management issues
- Benefits administration; health, tuition reimbursement, worker’s compensation, status changes
- Work with brokers and carriers for plan administration and changes
- Serve as point of contact for benefits-related concerns or questions for team members
- Ongoing maintenance of HRIS system, including accurate employee data, report pulling, training new hires on utilization
- Stay current with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- 3+ years of experience
- Employee relations experience required
- Benefits experience or exposure required
