About the Role:

As a Software Engineer in a highly agile and productive team, you will contribute to and own the design, development, and maintenance of Zadar's Software modules in various parts of the stack. You will design, implement, test, validate verify, and maintain modules across our tech stack. You will conceptualize, plan, and develop efficient solutions to novel challenges and manage the process. You will frequently cross boundaries and work with other team members to solve critical issues not necessarily within your domain. You are self-motivated and jump to find and solve tough challenges as they arise. You will also work with our internal and external partners and domestic and international customers to improve our solutions and products. You will be working alongside a world-class, humble, and no-BS team with extensive knowledge in the fields of radar and vision technology, computer perception, robotics, automotive, and safety-critical engineering.

What You'll be Doing:

• Develop and iterate on CI/CD principles
• Maintain, own, and triage existing Build, Release, and CI/CD scripts & pipelines
• Discover, investigate, document, and resolve bugs in our Build, Release & CI/CD infrastructure
• Work closely with other engineers to resolve regression issues
• Maintain CI dashboard and reports

We'd like you to have:

• Passion for what you do and an open, humble, and collaborative attitude
• Proficiency in C++ programming with a solid understanding of software and system architecture, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD principles
• Programming experience in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
• Knowledge of build and release principles
• Experience with triaging CI failures and strong debugging skills
• Experience with development infrastructure tools such as Git, confluence, etc.
• Experience with ROS
• Experience using Linux environments
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. Docker)
• Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-have or willing-to-learn:

• Good understanding of system and network architecture and concepts
• Experience with OpenCV, PCL, or other computer-vision libraries
• Solid understanding of data parallelism and model parallelism
• Familiarity with perception systems used in autonomous vehicles or robotics
• Experience with build tools (GNU Make, CMake, etc.)
• Experience with software packaging and release
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and algorithms
