Job description
The research assistant will be responsible for:
• Engaging in research into innovation in education and other educational topics like AI, schedule and calendar, project-based learning, etc.
• Scheduling school visits with other schools
• Performing literature reviews
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in the social sciences.
High proficiency with use of Excel, Word, and a willingness to learn new technology or applications to complete assigned work.
Experience with qualitative data analysis.
Experience performing and/or writing literature reviews
Strong writing and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background or past experience in education research
• Familiarity with independent schools
• Familiarity with Qualtrics
Remote work is possible.
This is a temporary, part-time staff position with a schedule of 15-20 hours a week with the possibility of some weeks being more and some weeks being far less; no more than 1000 hours/year. The expected duration of this position is through the end of the 2023-2024 academic year. This is a non-benefits eligible position except for those benefits required by law.
