Salary: 115k - 120k
Work Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday (Flexibility to work pass set schedule if needed)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for month-end close process with timely and accurate Financial Statements delivered to Senior Management
- Maintains Financial Statements, consisting of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, Statement of Changes in Shareholder Equity, and EBITDA reporting.
- Prepares weekly check-runs for approval.
- Assists in managing Cash Flow for the company and provides Cash Flow Analysis to senior management on a weekly basis.
- Maintains Cash Flow, Budgets, and Forecast Models with respective variance analysis reporting.
- Responsible for the supervision of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and processes, ensuring proper execution of duties, providing work directives, employee training, coaching, mentoring, and supervisory guidance, and accountability.
- Assists in maintaining ERP Accounting System, including monthly financial reports, and closing processes.
- Reviews deposit reports generated by A/R for verification and confirmation relative to bank register spreadsheets.
- Completes journal entries for month-end and other accounting related month-end functions.
- Assists with inventory adjustments and valuation analysis, as necessary.
- Assists with annual budget preparations.
- Prepares and conducts bank reconciliations.
- Assists in maintaining records for the company's present financial condition.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Heavy Highway Construction Cost Accounting
- 10+ years of work experience with 3-5 years in a supervisory/management role in accounting and/or Finance
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Must have experience supporting organizations of 50+ staff members
- Exceptional attention to detail, self-motivated, able to work independently
- Ability to prioritize work for self and direct reports
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, phone, electronic)
