Full-time Sous Chef & Event PlannerĀ
Every Other Weekend Off!
Our chef prepares and serves meals according to menus prepared by the Dietary Manager, prescribed diets of the residents or dietary request by management. Ensures food is prepared, served, and stored using proper sanitation guidelines. Leads culinary planning for events or life enrichment activities including menu plan, orders, food preparation and presentation. Manages the Independent Living facility food market offerings. Leads dietary personnel in maintaining cleanliness of work area and timeliness of meal service.
High school diploma or equivalent and two or more years of cooking experience or equivalent food experience, as well as a knowledge of kitchen equipment is required. Knowledge of therapeutic diets and previous leadership experience is strongly desired. Must also have knowledge of food sanitation and storage and the ability to follow recipes.Job tags
