Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Team/Department: Engineering/Manufacturing
Location: Roanoke, VA (Hybrid)
Hours: Full-time

Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000
*EV Infrastructure, AutoCAD, MATLAB experience required!

- Develop transformer outline drawings for customers, encompassing structural and thermal elements within the external tank, internal core, and coil bracket, as well as seismic calculations and manufacturing drawings.
- Survey customer specifications and order acknowledgements (OAs); resolve any ambiguities in collaboration with sales and customers; emphasize key features of the order.
- Generate Mechanical, Structural, and Thermal designs; refine tank design; conduct comparisons with quoted designs; review designs with senior engineers; initiate material orders; create Bill of Materials (BoM) and naming conventions; assemble Mechanical shop packages.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in electrical design and development.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, and Excel Macros.
- Competitive salary base: $85,000 - $95,000
