Job description
ATARID Specialist Recruiters to the Property and Asset Management Industry are seeking experienced candidates on behalf of our client, a manager and developer of affordable housing:
Title: Property Manager -Affordable Housing
Job Summary: Manage the daily operations of a portfolio of affordable housing properties including LIHTC, Section 8, HOME and other local and federal programs.
Responsibilities:
-Management of a portfolio of affordable housing properties including Single Family Homes and Duplexes.
-Manage site-based team including Resident Services, Assistant Manager and Maintenance.
-Coach, mentor, and train staff ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to.
-Strong financial and reporting skills.
-Ensure properties are compliance and following regulatory programs.
-Conduct regular property inspections.
-Ensures residents receive good customer service.
-Oversee rent collection; ensuring procedures are followed.
-Proactively manage budget by reviewing property expenses.
-Establish preventative maintenance schedule.
-Demonstrated leadership, supervisory and financial management skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft 365 and property management software.
Qualifications:
-3-5 years' experience as a Property Manager in affordable housing including Low Income Housing Tax Credit, HUD, and local programs.
-Demonstrated leadership and financial management skills.
-Excellent organization, and time management skills
-Current working knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing, Tenant and Landlord, Low Income Tax Credit, HUD, and other programs.
-Professional with good customer service including written/verbal communication skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
Compensation: Negotiable, Commensurate with Experience; Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Holidays, STD, LTD, Life Insurance, FSA, and EAP.
