Probate Paralegal
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a full time/direct hire Probate Paralegal at a top law firm in Ft. Lauderdale, FL . Our client is seeking a candidate with minimum 3 years' experience. If this sounds like you, apply today!
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Provide legal support to attorneys.
Prepare Probate Pleadings, assist with trust modifications, guardianships, and other legal documents
Marshal inventory and distribution of assets
Experience with IRS Forms, including, 709 and 706 forms
Recording documents and deeds with courts
E-Filing with the court
Review and edit legal documentation and legal correspondence
Experience Billing
Prepare invoices, create cover letters, and send out to clients
Maintaining client files
Preparing legal documents for signing
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other interested parties
Qualifications & Education
Bachelor\u2019s degree or Paralegal Certificate (preferred) or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years experience in probate/trusts and estates
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and very organized
Demonstrated time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Compensation and Benefits
This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $60,000 - $80,000 and benefits may include 401k matching, medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
