Job Summary
PowerSchool is the leading provider of cloud-based software in K-12 education, and we are seeking an Event Lead who is passionate about delivering impactful, in-person experiences.
Responsibilities
We are looking for an Event Lead to join the Events and Experiences team to provide management and operational support for PowerSchool’s flagship internal events as well as 3rd party sponsored conferences. This role works closely with product marketing, design, sales, revenue marketing and other key stakeholders/contributors. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and strategic thinker who excels in a fast-paced environment while managing several different projects simultaneously. The role reports directly to the Director, Events Marketing.

- Assist with the planning, production and execution of PowerSchool’s internal and external events to meet lead generation, brand awareness, and relationship building goals
- Manage cross-functional workstreams; keeping them organized, promoting collaboration and assisting with unblocking throughout projects
- Facilitate logistics including contract negotiations, A/V, booth management, presentation materials, staffing, and creative
- Evaluate and determine exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities and manage exhibitor fulfillment in collaboration with key stakeholders to drive maximum value out of sponsorship benefits
- Collaborate with sales to ensure regional event plans are tailored to territory and business needs
- Work with PMO to manage the procurement and budget process including contract management, vendor relations and monthly budget reconciliation
- Ideate and bring to life creative ideas that drive lasting impressions
- Analyze, track, and report on event ROI
- Contributes to overall team success by identifying problems and proactively seeking out methods to improve self-performance and/or efficiency of an operation or task
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field required
- Minimum three years work experience in a B2B, SaaS-based event management/coordination environment and hands-on corporate event planning and logistics experience
- Ability to interact with senior executives and clients
- Team player, motivated and committed, self-starter and quick learner
- Flexibility and ability to work in ambiguity and under pressure, as well as handle multiple projects simultaneously and resolve conflicts on-site
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possess ability to manage and establish relationships with a large volume of stakeholders (internal and external clients, vendors/suppliers, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, Cvent and Workfront preferred
