Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida. In this role, the incumbent will have a primary clinical assignment focused on GI cancers and will also be expected to develop, conduct, and participate in clinical trials and other collaborative research involving patients with GI cancers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity and will be expected to collaborate in a variety of activities including subspecialty and multidisciplinary clinic at the UF Health main campus, cancer case and research conferences, and clinical trials.

As part of the University of Florida's College of Medicine, the incumbent will be eligible for a full suite of comprehensive benefits including health, retirement, dental, and other supplementary plans. 

Rank and compensation--including tenure eligibility--will be commensurate with individual qualifications.

As part of the UF Health Cancer Center and the UF College of Medicine, the incumbent will also have access to a number of resources for professional development including leadership, education, and research training through the UF Health Cancer Center, Clinical Translational Science Institute (CTSI), formal mentorship programs, and supported opportunities for teaching and research. Clinical research support is provided by the UF Health Cancer Center Clinical Research Office.
