Job description

Your tasks

• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including remote troubleshooting for users as needed.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products.
• Assists users as needed or thru tickets on computer problems or complaints and make recommendations for process improvements for IT-related functions
• Maintain and update work log of job tickets and end-user tasks.
• Stay updated on new developments in, and analyze reviews of, computing technologies
• Servicing end users at the walk-up counter
• Troubleshooting basic computer or account issues preventing the end user from completing their work
• Maintaining existing processes and requirements for tickets and reporting of issues
• Resolving basic hardware issues, troubleshooting software issues, and assisting users with account limitations
• Contribute to the operations of the IT infrastructure within the campus, including but not limited to system patching, cabling, printer installation and maintenance, as well as asset tagging and tracking.

Your profile

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree in related field OR Associates Degree AND 2+ years of professional experience in the IT Career Field
• Computer analysis and problem-solving skills
• Business-fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
• Multitasking capabilities in a dynamic environment
• Effective written & verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening
• No relocation package or sign-on bonus is offered for this position

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of professional experience in the IT Career Field
• Computer Science or IT-related Degree
• Experience with BMC Helix or Remedy
• Experience with IT asset management tools
• Experience with enterprise-level antivirus software configuration and deployment
