DIRECT | DRAFTER [KCMO]
#jobalert | Seeking a Drafter for a locally based construction & engineering company (multiple offices nationwide). This role involves designing and creating Solidworks part drawings and files for custom Architectural Metal projects.
- Anticipate $65-85K, dependent on experience

Key responsibilities include:
- Using CAD programs like Solidworks (especially Solidworks Sheet Metal), Revit, and AutoCAD, producing 2D drawings following standard construction drawing structural format
- Assisting with material quantity estimates and dimensional checks
- Collaborating with Project Management, Design Team, and engineers to define project scope design
- Managing assignments efficiently to meet deadlines consistently
- Ability to work in a team environment
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 10+ years of technical Architectural experience
- 5+ years of experience with SolidWorks, prefer sheet metal package experience
- Computer/Software Skills Required:
- AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks files
- MS Office suite
