Job description
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Trade Marketing, you will work within our Sales and Trade Marketing team to support fundamental tasks involved in the Point of Sale (POS) development process from concept development to delivery. You must understand the retail environment to develop merchandising solutions, have an eye on trends and the future, a desire to understand shoppers, and above all else, the desire to look like #1 in store. With a focus on Small Format customers (including Convenience, Drug, and Value channels) you will manage the retail marketing and visibility strategies for assigned customers and support as the subject matter expert of our cold equipment portfolio and digital innovation projects.
RESPONSIBILITIESAll the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Be the subject matter expert for assigned accounts’ POS and merchandising plans
Develop POS solutions that serve the needs of assigned customers, complement shopper behavior, and ensure we are #1 in-store
Support the annual Small Format business plan process with strategy and guidelines on POS solutions to achieve commercial and brand goals
Review custom POS requests for assigned accounts to ensure quality and compliance with RBNA strategy and standards
Manage RBNA’s new cold equipment strategy to ensure premium, on-brand execution
Lead the development of new POS innovations between Brand, Sales, Global TM, and vendor network
Responsible for new POS item profiling across sales channels
Identify new industry technical innovations and prioritize testing based on business and customer needs
Stay up to date on industry trend analysis, competitive activity, and changing shopper behaviors through industry publications, events, insight reports, and supplier relationships
Define and strengthen the Look of Success and retail visibility strategy across assigned projects and accounts.
Guide Trade Marketing strategies through regular market visits, customer/ sales team meetings and Distribution Partner ride-alongs
Identify ways to improve our brand presence at retail
Develop and distribute Trade Marketing resources
Manage cold equipment and digital innovation projects
Manage and communicate processes and production timelines to all relevant partners
Identify opportunities to improve project workflows and refine processes
Responsible for budget and spend management
