What you will do as a Field Service Technician:
- Build relationships with Nielsen Families/Households
- Install measurement equipment in new Nielsen Families/Households
- Ensure equipment is installed and configured correctly
- Respond to calls and maintain equipment
- Complete work in assigned territory
- Collect and report demographics and audience information
- Educate and coach Panel Members on equipment operation
- Negotiate and maintain cooperation of Panel Members
Qualifications
:
- Ability to bend and lift television sets
- Some technical skills in consumer electronics, software systems, and networking
- Superior customer service skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED OR 2+ years equivalent work experience
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
- Be willing and able to go outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to navigate various types of entrances
- Willingness to interact with people in their homes
Additional Physical Requirements:
- Local travel required
- Driving for up to 8 hours per day
- Standing for up to 6 hours per day
- Kneeling for up to 2 hours per day
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to walk half of a mile
- Ability to work in all seasons and inclement weather
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs

The estimated starting salary for this position is $42,500, but may vary based on location and individual circumstances.
