Summary:
As a Sr. Analytics Solution Consultant – Data Governance , you will be an integral part of the team responsible for driving data and analytics enablement through data governance efforts. These efforts include, but are not limited to, driving adoption of the data catalog, developing metadata management strategies, delivering data quality programs, and creating the policies and procedures to support them. Ultimately, these efforts enable our organization to leverage data as a strategic assets, supporting evidence-based decision-making and driving value.
The Sr. Analytics Solution Consultant – Data Governance is an emerging leader in the field of data governance, providing valuable support and insight within their assigned business or clinical domains of the healthcare system. This position serves as the internal customer account manager, working with both leaders and end users to characterize requirements and ensuring the successfully delivery of solutions to meet those needs. They help drive adoption of the data governance framework, developing meaningful relationships with stakeholders including, but not limited to, domain owners, data owners, data custodians, and data stewards. They are also responsible for day-to-day execution of data governance processes, including certifying data and analytics assets.
The Sr. Analytics Solution Consultant – Data Governance is an individual contributor that works under limited supervision and is comfortable both working on projects alone and leading more junior team members.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Mindset & Communication - The Sr. Analytics Solution Consultant – Data Governance is a versatile leader, equally fluent in communicating with senior executives and operations staff, and in orchestrating multidisciplinary teams through discussions into system-wide consensus. They build positive relationships with a wide range of leaders across the organization, and are conscious of long-term business goals. The Sr. Analytics Solution Consultant – Data Governance is both a strong presenter and listener. They are organizationally savvy, able to navigate overlapping or conflicting priorities across stakeholders. The Sr. Analytics Solution Consultant – Data Governance is adaptable, adjusting their approach to respond to the situation and the culture.
2. Enterprise Leadership, Mentorship & Training - Establishes and leads virtual teams of clinical, business, and information services staff from across the system to drive consensus on data and analytical needs and priorities. Mentors junior staff and analytics community members.
3. Program Management & Facilitation - The Sr. Analytics Solution Consultant – Data Governance leverages product and program management principles to drive the iterative creation of new data and analytical capabilities and assets for the system. This includes, but it not limited to consulting with business stakeholders to design and scope solutions, capturing and preparing project intake (demands), documenting business decisions, managing risks and scope, and updating customers on progress.
4. Delivery & Enablement - The Sr. Analytics Solution Consultant – Data Governance delivers analytical solutions and drives adoption with the business in order to achieve business objectives and realize value. They assess business adoption of delivered solutions. They provide end-user enablement and support, including high-touch customer service, communications, and the creation of reusable knowledge assets such as documentation and training content. The Sr. Analytics Solution Consultant – Data Governance serves as the liaison between their end-user community and developers, helping to identify, scope, and prioritize ongoing solution delivery.

Professional Experience Requirements:
If a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field (i.e. Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Analytics, etc.), then two (2) years of experience is required
If a Bachelor's Degree in other field, requires four (4) years of experience.
If Master’s Degree, then two (2) years of experience is required.
If current certification in analytics, requires three (3) years of experience.
If an Associate's Degree, requires ten (10) years of experience.
If High School Diploma, requires twelve (12) years of experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Ability to function with limited guidance and be comfortable working on projects alone or leading more junior team members.

Data Governance experience is required
Experience with data catalogs is required (i.e. Informatica, Collibra, Alation, data.world, Atlan, IBM Watson, Azure, Purview, Denodo, Cloudera, Qlik, etc.)
Experience with Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Governance Policy and Procedure are all a plus
