APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Responsible for the overall system performance of regulatory and compliance certification across a wide variety of products, for various wireless technologies including Cellular, WiFi, BT, Inductive charging and Near Field Communication. Define Radio Frequency (RF) HW requirements, design and implement in-house test systems, debug and resolve issues, and monitor the process to ensure our products conform to all applicable regulatory standards. Ensure that the product is designed to meet specific requirements, both on a conducted and radiated level. Provide design guidelines, review, and sign-off on all Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and flex layouts, and system-level grounding and shielding related to regulatory performance. Drive implementable design solutions to fix regulatory issues. Familiar with all applicable wireless technologies including, IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth, Near Field Communication (NFC), Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), Universal Mobile Telecommunications Service (UMTS), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), and Long Term Evolution (LTE), and industry standards including the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), WiFi Alliance, IEEE, and Bluetooth SIG, in relation to our products. Work closely with internal and external engineering groups to debug regulatory issues. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 - $208,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Education & Experience

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
