Job description
Stevens Structural Components , a new self-perform division of Stevens Construction Corp. for the fabrication of commercial wall panels, is searching for a Wall Panel Designer to join the team.

The Wall Panel Designer is responsible for design, material take offs and estimation of commercial wall panels for large multi-unit buildings using MikTek software.Use structural and architectural plans to produce wall panel component drawings in 2D
Generate completed drawings into 3D for review
Perform wall panel material take offs
Coordinate design closely with Director of Plant Operations
Ensure quality of work is accurate per project specifications and construction code standards
Ensure design deadlines are hit to meet production schedule
Clarify specifications and answer questions from production floor and field construction teams
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of design experience using MikTek software creating wall panel components for the multi-unit construction industry
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and blueprints
Software experience with MitTek and Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience can dictate working environment:
Designers with advanced MiTek Design experience, within commercial wall components, will have option of working remote.
