Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements for projects and initiatives.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive requirements.
Process Analysis:
- Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and document detailed process maps and workflows.
Data Analysis:
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and validate business requirements.
- Collaborate with data teams to define data requirements and specifications.
Solution Design:
- Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in user acceptance testing activities.
- Ensure that developed solutions meet the specified business requirements.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and process documentation.
- Provide clear and concise documentation for knowledge transfer to various stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and escalate issues as needed.
Risk Assessment:
- Identify and assess potential risks and issues related to project delivery and business processes.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to mitigate risks.
Continuous Improvement:
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on complex projects and business process analysis.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Acumen:
- Familiarity with technical concepts and the ability to work closely with development teams.
- Project Management:
- Understanding of project management principles and experience working within project teams.
- Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues and challenges during project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
