Job description

Responsibilities:
•Responsible for insuring entries are properly numbered
•Responsible for checking and recording any and all equipment changes of every starter
•Responsible for insuring all entries are in the proper stalls
•Responsible for collecting and maintaining all race numbers and insuring their cleanliness
•Responsible for other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
•Must have a High School diploma/GED
•Must be able to obtain a MRC License
•Must have knowledge on the Minnesota Racing rules and procedures
•Must have knowledge of harness equipment
•Must be able to effectively present information to management both verbally and written
•Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
•Must be able to work near and around horses
•Must be able to work in a noisy environment
•Must be able to lift or move up to 100lbs
•Must be able to work in outside, summer working conditions
•Three years of experience in the racing industry is preferred
