Job description
Founded in 2001, Wow Technologies, Inc. (Wowrack) is a cloud service provider; offering various Hosting services including Managed Hosting Solutions, Dedicated Server Solutions, Colocation, Virtualization, Bandwidth Delivery and Managed Services. Our competency includes being able to design, provision, implement, manage and monitor high traffic websites that require high availability and redundant infrastructure.
Interns are thrown right into the mix of Wowrack’s marketing department by assisting with event planning from in-house events to travel budget planning activities; writing press materials, assist with marketing copy, and learning marketing automation. In addition, our interns our involved with learning about what it takes to strategize and execute a successful marketing campaign.
Responsibilities included but not limited:
- Assist with graphic design, email templates
- Research graphic ideas appropriate for each marketing campaigns
- Assist in the development marketing materials (emails, website)
- Assist with marketing copy and campaigns (social media)
- Assist with coordinating events and travel plans
- Learn how to research and analyze target audiences
- Learn the basics of Google search commands and overall Google navigation
- Assist with the daily operations of marketing campaigns
Requirements:
- Passion to learn, take on responsibility, and get the most out of your internship
- Must be very reliable and punctual and able to work in a fast paced environment.
- High level of comfort with graphics programs including Illustrator, Photoshop, etc
- Ability to learn new applications quickly.
- Must be fast / efficient / extremely organized.
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and independent with excellent research and problem solving skills.
- Pursuing a undergraduate degree in Marketing
- Microsoft Office and social media experience required
- Self-Motivated, upbeat and smiley, energetic, outgoing and works well under pressure and goes with the flow.
