Job description
Position Description and Qualifications: Position Summary : System tester to serve as main engineering support with customer and Japanese product evaluation team; Function and black box testing and roading testing of infotainment system; evaluation radio products; track, investigate and solve engineering issues; evaluate /analyze / counter measure claims during development and production with Japan, customer, and plants for electronics software issues; create test case and test plans, provide customer plant fallouts for root cause from electrical perspective; create technical reports; prepare material and develop issue list for customer meeting; attend customer meeting; The tester will be participating in group evaluations of benchmarking and internal monitor vehicles; and assisting the evaluation team with research and documentation tasks. Schedule would be 40 hrs/week. Driving test will be required
Required Skills and Education Requirements: We are looking for candidate with associate degree in electronics and good experience in automotive system or electronics. Understanding of black box testing, connected service, HF, BT, and cell phone connectivity is a plus. Most importantly, the candidate must have a passion for audio, electronics, mechanical, hands on experience with some form of car work (studio sound, live sound, car audio, home audio, etc.), and practical knowledge of automobiles.
