Job Title: Controller
Location: Bensalem, PA
Salary: $90k-$140k
Requirements: Experienced as a Controller within a manufacturing environment, CPA preferred or relevant work experience
We are a highly respected distributor and service center of metal and plastic products with multiple locations throughout the United States. Due to company growth, we are looking for a Controller to join our team in Pennsylvania. Ideal candidates will have experience as a Controller within a manufacturing setting, have proven longevity and abilities within finance and accounting, and are highly proficient working within Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Controller, you will provide financial leadership to the CFO and Plant Management team. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating plant budget, planning, and financial activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices.
- Prepare and analyze subsidiaries' monthly/quarterly financial reporting
- GL closing and non-recurring journal entries
- Prepare cash flow forecast
- Sales Use tax statements, prepare and file
- Ensure completion of operational requirements
- Assign responsibilities to team members and monitor and appraise results
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Maximize return and limit risk on cash by minimizing bank balances
- Prepare budgets by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, and plan recommendations
- Provide status reports of financials
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal requirements
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA highly preferred
- 5+ years' experience in Accounting/Finance
- Must have Controller experience within a manufacturing environment
- Leadership experience
- Experienced in Payroll and A/P
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge and experience of financial reporting requirements
