Role/Title: Project Engineer

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina

Types of hire: Fulltime

Salary/Rate: Best in market (DOE)

Description:

An engineer with over years of experience who can support module flashing and configuration, vehicle troubleshooting, and assisting the senior engineer with EOL recommendations and documentation.
i. Supports required process changes to achieve overall flashing strategy as outlined in the Module Data List
ii. Assist in process development for data flow from MES to in-plant tools
iii Responsible for integration of software flashing tools into the production process
1. Flashing station - Bosch
2. iFlex on-line configuration and flashing - Bosch
3. Flashing stations - Roush
4. Others - Brusa, American Battery Solutions (ABS) and etc
5. Oshkosh Diagnostics Tool (OKDT) Bosch
iv. Assist and coordinate process development for data flow from in-plant tools to backend data lake
v. Supports pre-production and production on-line vehicle flashing, configuration, diagnostics and post process software updates as required

Required skillset
Flash various modules in-vehicle through diagnostic or OBD port, update/flash test bench
Experience with Vector tools Canoe, Canalyzer, DET
Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems read and interpret schematics, determine root cause of issues, collect, review and interpret data
Experience in EOL process document work instructions, post build updates, process flow and data collection
Ability to learn new tools and train junior engineers
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office tools, Jira etc.
Travel upto 25% to facilities in Wisconsin and Michigan
