Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and operating drilling equipment for geotechnical investigations
- Load and unload drilling tools, equipment, and supplies
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment
- Support the drilling team during drilling activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Collect and label soil and rock samples for laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to drilling operations
Qualifications:
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working as a drill helper in a geotechnical or environmental drilling environment is a plus
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
