Description:
Day to day: Individual will be the main point of contact for the customer updating on timelines and relaying any changes as it relates to the project. You will also be responsible to manage a team of CFT memebers 6-8 people among all groups such as Quality, MFG, Plant Manager, and others. If they are supporting the Tesla program they will be required to Travel to Austin on avg a Week per month. If they are supporting Big 3 it is local travel to different suppliers and some in Canada. You will be doing internal reporting such as milestone reviews to update on any major accomplishments as it relates to the project.
Project Phase Kick Off Meetings, Project Management Planning
Project Financials – Cost vs. budget, HBPO financial guidelines
Collect project scope requirements from acquisition phase or new project scope for next phase
Perform risk analysis and plan response for phase and project assessment
Develop and update project timing
Customer standards fulfillment
Support Logistic, flow and assembly process engineering studies and calculation
Manufacturing feasibility commitment
Support Equipment validation, Manufacturing equipment trials
Project product and process customer approval and presentation to customer
Support PPAP Customer Run at Rate approval with production samples
Support Ramp-Up and Supply chain readiness
Support Transfer to plant completed and checklist validated by project and plant
Support Checklist for project transfer to plant
Milestone report
Project quality status
Manufacturing work package defined and validated in line with Project SO
