Job description
As a Customer Service Representative 1 at MDRR, you will act as a liaison between our customers and the company, helping them with a variety of inquiries relating to Residential accounts, including billing, complaints, questions, and requests. With our home office located in Concord and additional offices in Pittsburg and Oakley (this position will be on rotation between the Concord and Pittsburg offices), we're looking for a dynamic individual who is ready to join a growing team!
Essential Job Functions: - Be at your desk, ready to work, at the designated start time
- Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or through email communications
- Assist customers with routine account-related requests such as understanding their bills and services, taking payments, creating work orders, and updating account information
- Complete additional assignments/data entry/functions as requested in a timely manner
- Maintain customer account information
- Collaborate with your fellow co-workers and supervisors to continually improve our customer service
- Help walk-in customers with payments, ordering a debris box, and more
- Balance cash drawer
- Call customers with problems that drivers have reported
- Collaborate with fellow workers and supervisors to continuously improve customer service and build a better team
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Company Policies and City, County, and State rules and regulations, and laws to provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain a positive, courteous, and professional demeanor with every customer and caller
