Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee our financial operations and contribute to our continued success. The CFO will play a crucial role in managing all financial aspects of our business, from accounting practices to strategic financial planning. This role involves direct reporting to the Vice President and leading our dedicated accounting team, including the management of occasional part-time or temporary staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting functions including financial reporting, management of ERP system controls, preparation of fixed asset schedules, and sales commission calculations.
Conduct monthly close reconciliations, along with planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
Manage bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with financial and operational requirements.
Provide operational management for AP, AR, Payroll, and GL accounting.
Support annual income tax filings and oversee sales, purchasing, real estate, and insurance activities.
Maintain effective communication with the senior management team to provide up-to-date financial information and support decision-making processes.
Develop and maintain robust accounting systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Implement and uphold financial controls and policies.

Experience & Qualifications:

A solid background with 15-20 years of experience in accounting and financial control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
Exceptional proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
A comprehensive understanding of cost accounting, GAAP, and IRS regulations.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
