JOB SUMMARY
The Data Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure, as well as developing data pipelines and ETL processes. They will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our data, and for developing data-driven solutions to business problems. The Data Engineer must have experience with a variety of data-related technologies, including Jaspersoft, PowerBI, SQL. They will also have strong programming skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Our core values are the heart of our company and guide everything we do. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and
6+ years professional experience as a data engineer or similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Python, and Java, Jaspersoft, PowerBI, Redshift, Agility
- Experience with big data processing tools
- Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions, such as Microsoft cloud-based system, strong experience in Azure Data tools STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling
RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, implement, and maintain the data architecture for all company data, customer data, product data, financial data, and operational data.
Work with business stakeholders, data scientists, and software engineers to understand data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs,
Design and implement ETL processes to load data from a variety of sources into the data warehouse.
Design and implement data models that are optimized for performance and scalability.
Write SQL queries and stored procedures to support data analysis and reporting.
Monitor and optimize the performance of the data warehouse and ETL processes.
Develop tools and scripts to automate various data management tasks.
Stay up to date on new data technologies and approaches and evaluate their potential for use within the company.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that data is accessible and usable by all who need it.
Participate in the design and implementation of data security policies.
