Amare Global is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Formulation Chemist to join our R&D team. The Formulation Chemist will be responsible for developing and optimizing product formulations to meet defined specifications and performance goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are safe, effective, and comply with all applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize formulations for dietary supplements
- Conduct stability testing and develop strategies for improving product shelf life
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to scale up production and troubleshoot any formulation-related issues
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in formulation technology
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards
- Work with quality assurance teams to perform product testing and address any quality issues
- Document and maintain accurate records of formulation processes and formulas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- Experience working as a formulation chemist in a dietary supplements or nutraceutical company
- In-depth knowledge of formulation techniques and ingredients used in dietary supplements
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with process scale-up and manufacturing troubleshooting is a plus
