ETL Developer Job Summary:
As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, with a critical focus on integrating data with the Health Rules Payor system. This role requires expertise in SQL and a strong understanding of data integration best practices. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and ensure the accuracy and reliability of our data pipelines.
What you’ll do as the ETL Developer:
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for data integration, with a critical emphasis on Health Rules Payor
- Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse, ensuring seamless integration with the Health Rules Payor (HRP) system
- Write and optimize SQL queries to manipulate and analyze large datasets, including data from Health Rules Payor (HRP)
- Conduct testing and debugging to identify and resolve ETL-related issues, with a specific focus on Health Rules Payor (HRP) integration challenges
- Ensure compliance with data integration best practices, industry standards, and security protocols, especially concerning health data within the Health Rules Payor (HRP) system
- Work closely with internal teams to address data integration challenges related to Health Rules Payor (HRP) and optimize ETL processes
- Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve ETL-related issues, particularly those involving Health Rules Payor (HRP)
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in ETL technologies and SQL practices, especially as they relate to health data and the Health Rules Payor (HRP) system
What you’ll bring to the ETL Developer role:
- Proven experience as an ETL Developer or similar role
- Experience with HealthRules Payor (HRP) data migration and integration projects
- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance
- Experience with EDI healthcare claims; Edifecs knowledge preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and security
