Job description
Round Hill Search is working with a law firm based in Los Angeles seeking a Medical Malpractice Associate to join their practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert legal representation and counsel in medical malpractice defense cases.
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and preparation of cases.
- Develop and implement legal strategies and solutions in collaboration with the legal team.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions.
- Manage caseload effectively and meet billable hour requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and dynamic work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-10 years of medical malpractice defense experience.
- Juris Doctor degree and a valid California Bar license.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Proficiency in legal technology and software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated commitment to high ethical and professional standards.
SALARY:
$145,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
