Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tool Room Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the readiness of dies for our die cast operations. What you will do: - Respond to and troubleshoot problems related to die cast and trim dies on the production floor.
- Service and repair die cast dies, trim dies, and fixtures using precision measuring tools.
- Operate various machinery, including drills, grinders, turn threads, mill, lathes, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
- Perform welding tasks as required to enhance die functionality.
- Maintain core and punch inventory to ensure seamless production processes.
- Uphold a clean and orderly work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Adapt to frequent job duty changes, including cross-training as required by business and manpower demands.
- Complete daily documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members in a cooperative and supportive manner.
- Work safely around and operate heavy equipment or manufacturing machinery.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime hours as required, including emergency overtime when needed.
- Regularly report for work on time with a commitment to delivering high-quality performance.
- Ensure compliance with all company employment policies, procedures/processes, and programs.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance overall efficiency.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $32.00 per hour
