On-Site
We are seeking a highly motivated goal-oriented candidate to be part of an innovative Research & Development program to elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms of arthropods chemosensation (). The candidate will use molecular and electrophysiological tools to develop original approaches to drive research in the field of arthropod chemical ecology. Candidates will possess a deep understanding of the neural pathways, receptors and ion channels which drive insect behaviour. Broad hands-on experience with cellular and molecular biology on arthropods is required, ideally on mosquitoes. Candidates experienced using electrophysiology and cell-based assays to study arthropod ion channels and receptors are highly encouraged to apply.
