Primary Responsibility

An Admiral Metals Business Development Representative is a key ambassador of the company and will be responsible for meeting or exceeding company goals. This will happen by providing the highest level of professional sales support to our existing base of customers and also generating additional sales revenue through prospecting and new account development. The successful candidate will have exceptional phone and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of professional sales and service to support new and existing Admiral Metals customers
• Cold calling leads and prospects in order to qualify new business opportunity
• Achieve or exceed potential and existing customer contact goals while providing the highest level of professional sales and service to support new and existing Admiral Metals customers
• Achieve or exceed new account development quota
• Coordinate sales activity, develop and follow up on leads and follow up on quotes, when necessary
• Work closely with the Inside and Outside Sales teams to coordinate, develop and follow up on leads to convert to Admiral Metals customers
• Contribute information to the sales and marketing strategy by communicating customer needs, market opportunities and competitive information to Sales Management

Skill and Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate and follow up with the sales team, customers and other departments within the company
• Ability to balance sales calls on existing accounts, target accounts, new accounts and business development prospects to maximizes sales efficiency
• Ability to talk on the phone in an open office area
• Effectively communicate features/benefits of doing business with Admiral Metals to develop new accounts
• College Degree or related work experience
• Comfortable using MS Office and Salesforce (CRM)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, pull/push up to 10lbs
• Ability to sit/stand for the duration of the shift
