What’s a typical day as an Evaluation Technician? You’ll be:

• Adhering to all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.

• Performing electronic troubleshooting to determine root failure and perform preventative maintenance evaluations.

• Using instruments such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure gauges to examine, test, repair, and troubleshoot medical devices.

• Applying technical knowledge to interpret information and determine root causes.

• Writing clear and concise technical evaluation summaries.

• Rotating into the repair and test areas as needed.

• Training employees on an as-needed basis.

• Performing other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have good verbal and written communication skills.

• Can work well independently and as part of a team.

• Possess basic math skills.

• Are proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Have the ability to determine the root cause of failure and perform basic statistical analysis.

• Can wear personal protective equipment as required.

• Have the physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and lift up to 30lbs routinely.

• Are able to work overtime as needed.

• Hold an associate's degree or equivalent technical certification.

• Have at least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting.
