Job description
The Endowment Intern will provide support to the Investment Manager, Private Equity through data entry, research, and response to inquiries.
WHAT YOU WILL DO - Participate in/help prepare for the weekly PEC Team meeting, enter data for the portfolio analysis for bi-annual detailed reporting package on aggregate and individual fund performance.
- Research assigned market topics.
- Support response of inbound manager inquiries.
- Produce analysis of existing portfolio companies and manager reporting as assigned.
- Assist with special reports and research as necessary.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested
WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED - High School Diploma and currently enrolled in a four year undergraduate program.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated interest in, and awareness of, overall venture capital and PE markets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must de detail-oriented with impeccable follow through.
- Interest in learning about various PE investment strategies and funding structures.
- Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.
- Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrate willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions
HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK This is a temporary position working approximately 10 hours per week through May 2024.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE Previous exposure to market transactions, technology investments, entrepreneurship and/or high growth operating experience preferred.
