Currently hiring an experienced construction estimator

Job Title: Senior Estimator
Job Location: Baltimore, MD
Salary: $110k-$130k
Requirements: 5+ Years Experience with estimating on 1 or more of the following projects (Commercial, Multifamily, Hotels, Schools). Experience on projects $20+ Million is preferred

This is a full time/permanent position with a well established Design Build General Contractor primarily focused on projects related to K-12/Schools, Commercial, multifamily, etc. Due to consistent growth, they are currently hiring for a senior Estimator. This person will manage, coordinate, and deliver preconstruction phases of the projects.

What You Will Be Doing

- Prepare a detailed estimate by completing quantity take-offs, analysis, estimate input, and studies 
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents 
- Create budgets, reports, and develop bids
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Meet bid deadlines and participate in meetings with clients

What You Need for this Position

- 5+ years of estimating involving general construction 
- Estimating on 1 or more of the following projects (Commercial, Multifamily, Hotels, Schools, etc.)
- Experience with computer blueprint take off program (Plan Swift, Bluebeam or similar)
- Bachelors degree is preferred
