Job description
Title: Sr, Snowflake Consultant
Location: Carlsbad, CA Remote (occasional travel might be required- expenses paid)
Duration: 6 + months w/ possible extension
Rate : 65-75/Hr.on C2c
Vendor/Client: Auritas / Calvi Golf
Interview will comprise of a 40-minute hands on session where candidate will have to solve 3 simple SQL problems in order of increasing complexity.
(They may use any variant of SQL recognized within Snowflake ANSI, Javascript or Pythonic).
If the candidates get past the technical round, this will be followed by a 20-minute round of questions testing their functional and technical knowledge.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Snowflake Consultant with a focus on data architecture and implementation.
Proficient in Snowflake Cloud Datawarehouse architecture, data modeling, and SQL.
Provisioning data to support needs of Operational Data Stores, Data Marts, Reporting and Decision Support systems leveraging traditional RDBMS, Columnar databases and BIG Data technologies
Administration and Security management - LCM, User Management, SOX control audit frameworks and Secure RBAC models in a Hybrid Cloud environment
Experience in Data Virtualization, Data Quality Management, Data Visualization, Data Analytics and Metadata management
Expertise in cleansing and integrating data from disparate data sources and cross-platform, cross-functional applications
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure.
Experience with ETL tools and data integration.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and engage with clients effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Snowflake certification is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
