Job Title: Severance Tax Associate
Job Location: Houston or Dallas 
Requirements:
1.) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2.) 1+ years of experience in severance tax

What You Will Be Doing

As a Severance Tax Associate, you will be responsible for handling severance tax compliance and tax minimization for our clients in the oil and gas industry, as well as researching and analyzing tax laws and regulations. You will also be supported by a professional and experienced team of colleagues and work in an environment that encourages collaboration.

What You Need for this Position

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of experience in severance tax
- Tax Research experience
- Strong Excel skills

Bonus Skills:

• JIB, GL or joint venture audit experience
• Experience with Texas Petro
• CPA or CMI Preferred
• Severance tax/gross product compliance experience in multiple states preferred
