Job description

Position Summary

The Integrated Product Support (IPS) Manager will be a critical member of the OTECH Support Services Core Team. The IPS Manager will oversee and align IPS functions in Configuration Management, Technical Writing, Logistics Product Support, and Logistics Support and Warehousing. The IPS Manager shall ensure that IPS personnel issues are addressed clearly, fairly, and in a timely manner.  The IPS Manager shall ensure that the tools and execution of the above functions are providing OTECH with progressive, efficient, and compliant solutions. The IPS manager will collect, prepare, and present analysis, planning, metrics, in the support of detailed design of all engineering specific logistics support. The IPS Manager clearly communicates and coordinates team management efforts involving all the activities within OTECH and ADTech and its interaction with Contracts, Program Management, Manufacturing, QA, Security, Purchasing Departments, and other functional areas.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL


• Coordinate with IPS Logistics manager to develop and manage Integrated Logistics Support Elements to include reliability/maintaining/availability engineering; supply support; obsolescence; technical data/publications; and configuration management.
• Supervise Integrated Product Support group. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
• Manage customer interface, as necessary, for IPS activities.
• Provide a high level of internal and external customer support.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and management of Oceaneering, ADTech, and OTECH standards, systems, and processes.
• Ensure Contract and Divisional procedural requirements are addressed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED


• Bachelor’s degree in management, Supply Chain, technical discipline, or related field.  Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated ability at a lead/supervisory level. 
• In depth understanding of Government Logistics Support.
• Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, decision-making, and conflict management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable in conversing at all levels within the organization.
• Well-versed in web-based data application and data management.
• Demonstrated knowledge and effective use of the principles, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization and understanding of related engineering fields.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance.

DESIRED


• Master’s degree in management, Supply Chain, technical discipline, or related field.  Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
